Nanci's Scenery

Moving with her husband to the Minneapolis/St. Paul MN area in 2000 resulted in a lost client base for Nanci's commissioned paintings. Since Nanci didn't have a current collection of unsold paintaings, she was unable to reach new clients through shows or displays. The urge to paint was still there, so she assisted with scenery painting for "Joseph and the Technicolor Dreamcoat", a theatrical production of Wooddale Church, Eden Prairie MN. Since then, she's worked on many other scenery and millinery projects for Wooddale, The New Chanhassen Dinner Theatres and Bloomington's Artistry Theatre. Some of her creations are pictured on this page.

FEATURED AT RIGHT: Nanci constructed and painted the set for "The Sound of Music", Wooddale Church's spring dinner theater. The set consisted of a 16' x 14' mountain backdrop and six stone-look Gothic arched windows created from foam and suspended above the stage. These windows also had a leaded glass look.

Nanci will take requests for backdrop paintings, scenery and props as well as millinery. To place an order or to talk with the artist, visit her Contact Us page.
