Hot Glue and Paint!
Two and Three Dimensional Works by Nanci Aeilts

For the most recent Christmas production of "The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe" at Wooddale Church, Nanci created a 16' wide and 6' high free-standing backdrop with center hinged sections which open to reveal first the winter and then the summer setting called for in the script.

Below are two additional pieces which Nanci sculpted from foam and various other materials, then painted. One corner piece represents Aslan's castle and rotates to reveal the Beavers' home. The other corner piece represents the Witch's castle and rotates to reveal Tumnis' house.
